Zululand extends up to Richards Bay along the north coast of Kwazulu Natal and inland into the rural heart of the province, extending north to Pongola. It is this part of Kwazulu-Natal that has seen the emergency of a micro economic zone which covers towns such as Melmoth, eShowe and Gindindlovu. Historically, these little known towns have been home to tea plantations, cattle farms and very rich in wildlife. The area has however recorded increased economic activity over time with Melmoth and Gingindlovu having both recently become home to large shopping centres with major chain stores anchoring these developments.
Information and news needs of this fast growing and vibrant community have been met by the Zululand Mail. The Zululand Mail has been positioned to meet the needs of these three closely knit communities, bound together by retail, agricultural and tourism enterprises. This newspaper’s editorial focus therefore covers retail, tourism, health, education, sports and entertainment.
Zululand Mails 8,000 copies are distributed Bi-monthly every second Thursday of the month into areas such as Melmoth, Eshowe, Gingindlovu and Nkwaleni .
